Aluminum metallized PI film is a high performance, heat resistant polyimide film. One side is insulating and the other side is conductive. PI plastic is one of the best insulating engineering plastics with high temperature resistance, excellent mechanical properties, fatigue resistance, flame retardant, dimensional stability, good electrical properties, low molding shrinkage, oil resistance, resistance to common acids and organic solvents. , but not alkali resistance, and has excellent friction and abrasion resistance.

Applications

IP stands for Ion Plating, a more detailed categorization of PVD technology. PVD methods include vacuum deposition, sputtering and ion plating (IP). IP is considered the best technology for adhesion and durability.

In a vacuum, the coating material is evaporated or sputtered and deposited onto the substrate to form a thin film. Since there are no air molecules to interfere, the coating material can travel in straight lines and form highly uniform layers.

Physical vapor deposition (PVD) is a process used by many manufacturers to coat metals such as titanium and stainless steel. The technique involves “shooting” metal onto another metal at high temperatures, transforming the material from a vapor phase to a solid film.
Cable taping methods include longitudinal taping and cross taping. Cross taping further divides into traverse taping and diagonal taping. Longitudinal taping is used for core wires where no overall stranding is required, and it does not require flexibility. Traverse taping is a high-speed process with good flexibility.
 

Hot melt adhesive laminated aluminum foil films are divided into two types: aluminum/PE shielding film and aluminum/PVE shielding tape. They use MQ-40 polymer as heat sealing adhesive, which is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, complying with the latest version of EU RoHS environmental regulations. The other type is self-adhesive laminated aluminum foil with genuine EAA self-adhesive film, which ensures good heat-seal adhesion and long-term stability at lower preheating temperatures.
